Founder Ventures
Building ideas, solving problems, and knowing when to evolve.
Steven Pajevic’s work as a founder has included operating businesses, workforce platforms, technology concepts, media projects, and industry focused brands.
Some grew into long term operating companies.
Some evolved into something different.
Some reached a point where the right decision was to pause, reposition, or retire them.
Each one contributed to Steven’s experience as an operator and reinforced a practical approach to entrepreneurship: identify a problem, build something useful, test it in the real world, learn from what happens, and make decisions based on where the opportunity actually leads.
Crystal Clean Green Cleaning
Building a company around trust, people, and long term value.
Crystal Clean Green Cleaning was cofounded by Steven and Kristina Pajevic and remains the strongest example of Steven’s work as a founder and operator.
What began with a $100 Walmart gift card grew into an award winning residential cleaning company serving Sarasota, Lakewood Ranch, and surrounding communities.
The business has provided Steven with firsthand experience across operations, workforce development, pricing, leadership, customer experience, workplace wellness, sustainability, technology adoption, community involvement, and long term business growth.
Crystal Clean remains an active operating company.
Home Watch by Crystal Clean
Extending trust beyond cleaning.
Home Watch by Crystal Clean grew from the trust already established with residential clients.
The service provides professional property oversight for homeowners who are away, creating a natural extension of the company’s experience with trusted access, consistency, communication, and care inside private homes.
The business remains active and continues to serve homeowners throughout the Sarasota and Lakewood Ranch area.
Service WorkSource
A workforce platform built from a real hiring problem.
Service WorkSource was created to address workforce challenges Steven repeatedly encountered as an operator.
The project originally began as Cleaning WorkSource and later expanded into Service WorkSource as the problem proved much larger than a single industry.
The platform explored better ways to connect employers with job seekers while giving Steven deeper experience around workforce technology, marketplace economics, recruiting, employer needs, and the challenges involved in building a two sided platform.
Service WorkSource is currently paused while its future is evaluated.
Cleanlio
Exploring technology and new ways to solve industry problems.
Cleanlio was developed as a founder project around the intersection of technology, operations, customer experience, and the cleaning industry.
The project gave Steven the opportunity to explore new business models, technology enabled services, positioning, product development, and the realities of building something beyond a traditional operating company.
As Steven’s work and priorities evolved, Cleanlio was retired.
The domain and brand remain part of Steven’s founder portfolio.
The Cleaning CEO
Turning operating experience into ideas for other business owners.
The Cleaning CEO was developed as a content and education brand focused on the realities of building and leading a cleaning business.
It drew from Steven’s experience as an operator and explored leadership, growth, workforce, systems, profitability, and the transition from technician or owner to business leader.
As Steven’s work expanded beyond one industry, the brand was retired in favor of a broader focus on entrepreneurship, leadership, workforce, business operations, and organizational growth.
What These Ventures Represent
Not every venture needs to become a massive company to be worth building.
Some businesses become long term operating companies.
Some projects create new opportunities.
Some teach you what not to build next.
Some reveal a larger problem than the original idea was designed to solve.
And sometimes the right decision is to stop investing in the current version and redirect time, capital, and attention toward something with greater potential.
That is part of operating.
Steven’s approach has remained consistent across these ventures: solve real problems, create value, learn quickly, and be willing to change direction when the facts call for it.
The work still matters even when the outcome changes.
Building What Comes Next
Today, Steven’s work continues across business operations, leadership, workforce development, workplace wellness, sustainable business, technology, speaking, advisory work, and community impact.
Past ventures remain part of that story because each one added experience, perspective, and lessons that continue to shape how Steven approaches business today.
