Steven Pajevic is a founder, operator, speaker, business advisor, and small business advocate focused on building stronger businesses, healthier teams, and more resilient communities.

Steven started working for himself early, cutting lawns at eight and running a small lawn care business by twelve. After working in retail, he moved into financial services and insurance and eventually became an Allstate agency owner. With a team of just two, his agency consistently ranked among the top producers in the Sarasota and Tampa Bay region.

As his family grew, Steven shifted into corporate operations, project management, and business analysis at DXC. That experience broadened his perspective beyond sales and entrepreneurship to include process improvement, data, risk management, technology, project execution, and large-scale business operations.

Education has also played an important role in his career. Steven served as a principal and instructor at an insurance school, teaching prelicensing and continuing education courses. Earlier in life, he studied both premed and business, experiences that helped shape his long-standing interest in the connection between business performance, people, health, leadership, and organizational culture.

In 2012, Steven and his wife, Kristina, founded Crystal Clean Green Cleaning with a $100 Walmart gift card and no outside financing. What started small grew into one of the region’s most recognized residential cleaning companies and became a real-world testing ground for many of the ideas Steven believes make businesses stronger: operational discipline, employee wellness, accountability, customer trust, sustainability, community involvement, technology, and the ability to adapt.

That work has earned recognition from organizations including Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses, Business Observer, Housecall Pro, SRQ Magazine, and the American Heart Association. Crystal Clean’s workplace wellness efforts earned multi-year Platinum recognition from the American Heart Association, led to the company being featured as an Employer Story, and ultimately resulted in Steven being selected to join a national Well Being Works Better panel alongside business leaders from across the country. His work and perspective have also been featured through the Herald Tribune, Business Observer, Tampa Bay Business & Wealth, MySuncoast, Housecall Pro, and other business and industry outlets.

Community impact has remained part of the business from the beginning. Through Crystal Clean, Steven, his team, customers, and community partners have supported organizations including All Faiths Food Bank, Big Brothers Big Sisters, the Salvation Army, and other local nonprofits, along with food drives, environmental projects, and community initiatives that have helped thousands of families across the region.

Steven continues to invest heavily in professional development because he believes every business, industry, success, failure, and person has something to teach. His training and education span business strategy, Six Sigma, leadership, governance, workforce development, sustainability, technology, and organizational culture.

Today, Steven works with business owners, leaders, associations, and organizations through speaking, advisory and consulting, and select coaching engagements. His perspective comes from more than 20 years of actually building, operating, teaching, leading, testing, succeeding, failing, adjusting, and continuing to learn.
